Actually a nice little rug. About an inch small in both directions, not quite flat, and should have been about $30.

This is a very beautiful rug. The colors in the photo are true. I was a bit concerned that because it is jute the texture might be rough on bare feet but it’s actually quite soft. And, as noted in the description, it comes with a similarly shaped rug pad. My wife and I are very pleased.

I've bought 5 VHC rugs in "Tea Cabin" pattern/color. The first 20" X 30" rectangle rug got returned because the edges were CURVED, which was noticeable on my hardwood floor. The other rectangle rugs had some curvature as well. I bought the 5' X 8' oval, which has completely confirmed my concerns about VHC Quality and lack of inspection. I unrolled the rug and found huge puckers that refused to lay flat- it looked absolutely horrible!! How do you return a large rug when you had to destroy the polypropylene packaging?! VHC is totally aware how difficult their large rugs are to return, so I'm lodging a formal complaint with Amazon to put a hold on VHC rugs until they fix the Quality issues!! The only thing I could do is use a good steam iron on the highest heat setting, keep filling the reservoir with water, and iron the rug for 45 minutes to steam the stubborn puckering out, risking water damage to my cherry floors underneath! I measured the 5' X 8' oval rug before and after steaming; it was only 94.5 inches long instead of 96"- which is also unacceptable, because it's false advertising. I will be sending pictures in my formal complaint. Good luck- you are fully informed what you're getting yourself into with these poor quality things!

Love the quality of this rug. It will look great in the cabins we are building at Walker Creek Farms and Cabins. I’m sure I will be buying more in the future.

This is not the braided rug I remember from my grandmother's house. It is thin, but looks good from a distance. It will be getting almost no use in the guest room, so durability is not an issue. If you are looking for a decorating item it would be a good choice.

Very high quality look and feel. Perfect cozy look and for the fireplace. My dogs love laying on it in front of the fire.
