Great Platform Bed
Box spring was wearing down but the mattress was brand new. This platform bed was exactly what I was looking for the extra bedroom. The color matched the other furniture, it was easy to put together and it’s sturdy. Also, it’s light enough to move around even with the mattress.

Easy
I’m unsure why people think this is a difficult frame to assemble. This has been one of the easiest I have had. Assembly took about 50 minutes. The frame looks good and sturdy. Box showed up in great condition and no damage to the frame.

Nice bed seams a little fragile!
I bought this bed because it definitely look like a Boho themed bed. It is a super cute bed. And the instruction manual it says for a nice installation make sure you have two people. I thought it was funny but I only had myself when I was putting my bed together and didn’t feel like waiting help me. Definitely a pretty hard bed to install by yourself it looks very cute.

The Most Despicable, Uncomfortable, Death Trap Waste of Money I've EVER Seen.
As a human being I find the reviews of others useful, they guide us to make an informed choice about the product at hand. Please listen to me when I tell you I AM NOT a review writer, I just felt so compelled by this horrendous bed frame to warn others far, far away. I feel personally victimized by this bed frame and quite frankly don't know where to begin in the monologue of reasons why I loathe this bed. Let's start at delivery, I open up my package to find the wood damaged and breaking at the corners, light damage and it didn't bother me too much until I discovered the FUNDAMENTAL metal screw that keeps the bed frame together was missing. Yeah. Just not there. No worries, I thought - I can adapt to this challenge. I called amazon, who directed me to AshleyFurniture home store. I then spoke with a very rude customer service representative that begrudgingly sent me my missing pieces (Like what?? did she think I just wanted 4 free bed frame screws ??) So then after about 5 days I was growing impatient, you know, wanted to put my bed together. Yeah, called good old Ashley Furniture and they were like ohhhh about that! we forgot.. yeah never got sent out sorry. Safe to say then I was annoyed - but I kept my cool, accidents happen. At this point with the damage to the bed and the missing parts, I just wanted a refund. So then I had to call Amazon because Ashley Furniture said they do not handle refunds if bought through amazon. So I call up Amazon, no help. They basically said if I wanted a refund I had to send them back this 100 pound broken, bed frame. Yeah not too sure how i'm supposed to box up a broken bed frame and get it to the post office. I offered to send photos of the damages and recipts of my interaction with Ashely Furniture but they were persistent in not giving me a refund. Whatever, I was pissed but I just wanted to sleep in my freaking bed. So after weeks of waiting, Ashley Furniture finally sends me my bed frame screws and I'm able to somewhat put my broken bed together. Oh but the trouble does not stop there. When I tell you this is the most poorly made, and down right dumb and stupid design I have ever seen. My roommate and I were practically in tears after building this bed. Seriously. Nothing fit into where it was supposed to, more parts were missing, the screws were impossible to fit into the holes, and the overall design of shoving poles into this tight slots and then practically stapleing the other parts into place was so infuriating It could have made a grown man cry. I was DONE. Oh okay, you might be thinking, it's all over this poor girl and her roommate. WRONG.I am so relevied that after a total month long process of waiting for my beds parts to come together that I never even stopped to consider that since it was literally designed by a 3 year old it is so unimaginably uncomfortable, I wake up sore after sleeping on this bed because of how poorly it was constructed. It makes so much noise just looking at it, it squeaks. I am at the point now where I literally want to throw it into the dumpster. I don't even want to subject to someone the pain of this bed by selling it to them. I will probably find a way to write another review after the horrible experience to come that will be taking this beast apart. To make a long story short, For the love of all things holy do not buy this bed.And on a personal note to Amazon - should you see this, I want my money back.

Its cute but…
6 months later: dont buy this, its a waste of money. Look elsewhere, seriously. This was like, REALLY hard to put together, it took me and my boyfriend forever. It is however, very cute and the frame itself is very sturdy. What is not sturdy, is the metal cross bar things that go across the frame to support the mattress, they arent even long enough to go across the entire bedframe, and were impossible to put together. We had to rig ours to make it work, but it does hold up to two 230Lb+ adults with two 50lb dogs and holds up to sheet dance-parties (iykyk). Probably just gonna buy a bunkie board to put under the mattress to support where the bars don’t reachUPDATE like three months later:This thing sucks, we are gonna get rid of it, dont waste your money. Its sturdy and stayed together but offers no mattress support and we obviously dont want our mattress ruined, plus it is SO uncomfortable to have no support. Just buy something else

Assembled by 1 1/4
It took me a bit to put this together mostly because by myself balancing piece to get it lined up and then getting screws lined up was hard. I ended up recrewing my 6 year old to find me things to put under pieces to help me out. It did say 2 was needed but widow life here say that isn't an option so I did it alone and I got it done. It took about the ETA the book said not much longer. I would say the longest part was the slats and if you really wanted something more durable then the thin wood a metal Bunkie board bed could also be used as a bottom platform for even more stability.I did end up getting 4" risers though as t was a bit to low for me to be able to fit my ikea storage bins under the bed as is.

2 person job recommended
For the most part, the Allen wrench was just fine. But you’ll want a drill to screw the panels onto the border of the bed frame.Instructions are very easy to follow. You’ll definitely need a second person to align the side panel to the top panel. But other than that you can do this by yourself.Pro tip: when you are finished sliding all of the slats into the black sleeve, and the next step is to screw three metal support beams in the center… DO NOT…. I repeat… DO NOT… screw them in tightly. Why? Welp, you have to slide in two other long supporting beams and if that is too tight you’ll have to go back and loosen them (pain in the $@!). You can go back after it’s put in its place and tighten without a problem.Other than that… easy peasey.

Difficult to assemble poorly fitting pieces
Strange design. Overly complicated. Poor fitting of wood.

Don’t bother.
I had a horrendous experience with this product. The instruction manual was awful, and I’ve put together a lot of flat pack furniture. The pre drilled holes didn’t match up, so I contacted Amazon support, but unfortunately there was no way to return as their shipping service didn’t operate in my area. They advised me to reach out to Ashley Home directly, which I did a few weeks ago but got no reply.I ended up drilling my own holes, as I needed a bed and had spent almost $300 on this one - only to find the slats were slightly uneven and didn’t fit. I had to hammer them in which made a huge mess. Not impressed at all. Don’t bother wasting your time.

Damagaed
The metal frames were damaged, not allowing the screws to fit. It became a nightmare to put together
