Sword Art Online SAO Foam Sword Replica Fantasy Cosplay Foam Sword Blade Costume for Xmas

After seeing a couple reviews noting a broken sheath, I was glad so see mine wasn't broken. It seems well built like it would be able to handle swinging it around quite a bit. Has a smell to it because of the paint but that should fade over time. Overall it looks good for being a foam sword.

This is such a good quality & has some weight on it!! The coloring isn’t bad, but it’s not perfect. Nothing too noticeable though. This is great for cosplay!!

Did not like the paint job in some areas. When painting it the brush should be a bit smaller to reach those crevasses. Bottom of hilt has paint rubbed off probably from excessive use, shouldve been fixed before sent to buyer. Judt looks like the paint job was rushed, good prop for an sao fan I guess but not for professional cosplaying and close details.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say it wasn't their fault per se. The picture was taken moments after opening the package. The sword seems fine, relatively solid. I gave it a few good swings and it seems alright. I'll have to see if it holds up to the larp title (which includes cosplay and a little bit of light combat). Problem is the sheath. I'd normally give it a 4 stars review if it were just the sword but you're paying for the sheath. The thing is, while plastic is good and all for a solid container, it is brittle. Why didn't the seller include any packing protection like peanuts or bubble wrap? Would literally give it a 5 star review because it isn't even the fact I'm dissatisfied with the product. I won't say I'll never buy from them again but I'm seriously disappointed at the condition it arrived in. Sure it might of not been a faulty product but plastic is brittle, it's hard but it NEEDS protection. The sword is fine and luckily hasn't bent or broke as of yet.

Surprisingly good quality and durable for the price. Now, I wouldn't go full battle reenactment with it, but it does make a great cosplay weapon. Made of a thick, solid foam. May look a little rough around the edges, but nothing some sandpaper and paint can't fix.

This turned out a great buy! It feels amazing in hand, this i did have to add some cloth wrapping to the handle but thats simple personal preferences. All around feels great to swing and use for fencing.

My son loved this sword, and that's the ONLY reason we didn't return it. The paint job was horrible and off, and scraped off around every corner on the handle. If there had been an accurate picture, I wouldn't have paid more than 3 dollars for it. Overall, it could be a nice sword and a good size for older kids, teens, and even adults for cosplay, but with the terrible paint quality, it is NOT worth the money we paid.
