The light is easy to move around and position the limbs. I saw this priced elsewhere for thirty dollars more, so ordering from Amazon was a no-brainer. I bought it for my daughter who makes ballet costumes/tutus that require a good deal of handwork for beading and cutting out lace patterns. I wanted her to try it before I commit, so since she's found it so useful, I'll be ordering another for myself.The light is very good and doesn't distort colors either and the arms of the lamp give off a nice variety of brilliance. It also folds up to a narrow width so it's easily stored or moved out of the way.

I am pleased with the light. It's versatile in where you can use it and the neck moves. It fits nicely on my easle. It's easy to screw down and tighten. I like the design for each light works independently in movement and lighting. The lights are variable in brightness, just tap to change to your preference. The plug cord is a little short for me because of where it sits on my easle but an extension cord fixed that. For me it was a good value for I have limited space and a floor lamp cluttered up my space.

This light is powerful and bright. It is touching control and light up the area I need it. I am happy with the stand and the heights. The light weight.

Wish the gooseneck was longer, but otherwise everything good.

I love the compactness of this lamp. I use it for lighting up my canvas when I oil paint and I don't have enough natural light coming in. The base is thick and heavy enough to withstand the movements I do on it when swiveling the top part of the lamp so that I can position it where I need it. I like the gooseneck part of the lamp, that will twist and turn every which way I need it to go. The lights are not straining on my eyes. It's a soft bright white light.2/23/2024: I would like to add that there is a NEGATIVE to this lamp. Upon thinking about what happens when the lightbulbs go out. So... When the bulbs burn out, there is no replacement bulb. YOU HAVE TO THROW AWAY THE WHOLE THING. (This is a $71.00 lamp in the trash until the bulbs burn out) The little booklet in the box even states this, and I just read it yesterday. There are no replacement parts. I should have thought about REMOVABLE OR REPLACEMENT LIGHT BULBS. Had I known this prior to buying, I would have not purchased this item.

Do Not waste your money. I bought this lamp on Jan 17, 2005. Now, 2 months later, one side is not working. Do not buy this lamp. So disappointing that it did not last more than 2 months. For the price, it should have lasted for at least a couple of years. Company is not answering their phone. Junk!!!

Not gonna lie, I complain about everything lol but thigh light is PERFECT! I work all day so the only time I get to paint is at night and all of the lights/lamps I have used in the past just did not work. This gives you even beautiful light and no glare - LOVE IT!
