Tried the latest greatest that promotes subscription and delivery to your door at a bargain price...cut myself every time i shaved. and got maybe five shaves before the blades started to tug on my whiskers. I came back to this one, my standard for decades now. I'm sure there is a 'right' razor for everyone, and this one is it for me. Well worth the difference in cost, especially considering how much longer they give a good, close shave compared to the others.

They're expensive but they're the gold standard on clean shaves. I used to use the Mach 3 or 4 maybe 15 years ago, younger and didn't have as much $ to be buying top of the line blades. I met a pretty Gillete exec at a party in like 2007 and Im like who needs 5 blades? She said you have no idea how much better it is. Ah she's just loyal to her company. But no, She was right, I'd been using them ever since. Its notable Fusion5 came out in 2006 and its 19 years later and there hasn't been any step forward.I should add, I use an electric shaver for M-Fri shaving, to save on costs. But if I want to look GOOD for a date night, event, etc, Fusion5 shave is so clean. Shave my head and u can't see how receded the hairline is.
