Q: Can you leave your plants in this instead of transplanting them to an outside garden? Are the light bulbs replaceable?

It's designed for the plants to stay in the garden. You could transplant them if you wanted to but I've had a tomato plant in mine fpr over 200 days with no intention of transplanting. You can also replace the LED light hoods but they're supposed to last 3-5 years.

Q: How do you lower the lights on this?

You can lower the lights by choosing the side that you want to manipulate on the LCD screen, and then using the up and down arrows next to the sun icon to adjust the light height. Please reach out to our Customer Service Team on our website with any further questions or concerns.

Q: Can you use your own seeds?

Yes! There are 2 different options available. Either the Grow Anything Kit or the AeroGarden Seed Starting System For AeroGarden Farm Models. It depends on the number of plants you want to start. Grow Anything kits are great for starting your own seeds and keeping them in the AeroGarden. The Seed Starting tray is great for starting a bunch of seeds to transplant into soil. Grow Anything Kit: Our Grow Anything Kits allow you to plant and grow your own choice of favorite seeds in the AeroGarden. Whether you like to grow snap peas, cucumbers, or wildflowers, you can do it with the Grow Anything Kit. Either grow your plants to maturity and harvest right from your AeroGarden or easily transplant seedlings and plants outdoors when the temperatures are ideal – perfect for root cuttings as well. With the Grow Anything Kit, you can plant and grow all year round, no matter the season. Seed Starting System: Start your garden's seedlings indoors and extend your growing season. The AeroGarden Farm Seed Starting System will fit the Farm, Farm Plus, or Farm XL in-home garden (not included) and allow you to sprout up to 85 seedlings while you wait for the weather to warm enough for outdoor planting - no sun and no soil required!
