I have to say I didn't expect much out this - but it totally worked great! Spray with a little oil, put the tortilla shell into the pan and close. It takes about 12-15 minutes to get a really good and crispy one. Maybe a tiny bit longer with the keto tortillas. Laugh as you might, but I actually love this thing! I made a few ahead and warmed them in the oven so we could have several people making taco salads at once. It's just fun and effective. I do recommend this if you like taco salad shells! For the cost, it’s a great product. I wanted to have a tortilla press because I eat alot of ground venison, bison, and beef very frequently in different forms for easy and lazy meal prepping. Sure, scramble some eggs throw some vegetables in it and bam you have a super easy nutritious meal. The versatility of this product is only limited by your imagination. Throw whatever vaguely South American spices in a pan over some ground meat and throw it in one of the tortilla shells that took two minutes to make with some cheese, Greek yoghurt, and vegetables and you’ll feel like your having taco Tuesday. I enjoy the product, but I suspect the hinges may not last forever. You pay for what you get as far as the manufacturing build quality goes, but it’s inexpensive and good enough to probably last for years as long as you take care of it. Browns Quesadillas well. No on/off button, have to unplug after each Quesadilla is ready. No easy cleanup here, lots of cracks & crevices to clean. No cord storage.
