Nice larger sized multi-use bowls
Bought these as an addition to my Samantha set. We like the size of these bowls and their versatility: for salad, soup and serving sides. Cleans easily.

Different size
As some others mention, these are not a replacement for the original 8 inch Samantha pasta bowls. We use the original 8 inch daily because the size and shape are so good. These are huge and will need to be returned. Very disappointing.

Not 8”. These are 9”.
The headline on these said they were 8”, which meant their measurement picture was confusing. They are 9” so don’t match the 2 I had. They’re really nice, but I returned them.

Mikasa pasta bowls
I ordered these to add to a set I already have. Mine are 8". These were not 8" but 9". I am disappointed they are not the same size as what I have and wanted to match.

I absolutely love the Mikasa “Samantha” 8” Bowls. I originally had 2 which I purchased locally, and wanted to get more.What was advertised were 8” Mikasa “Samantha” bowls, but what arrived were the 9” bowls (yes, there is a difference) I had to return. But… if you are thinking about these bowls 8” or 9” (just make sure you get the size you want) I highly recommend them. Chip resistant. Wash up well. Cute Style. Great luncheon bowls or pasta bowls. Or just wonderful for any “smaller portion” meals!
