Ernie Ball Earthwood 80/20 Bronze Light Acoustic Guitar Strings 4 pack - 11-52 Gauge (P02404)

Being an Ernie Ball fan to begin with, I figured these would be good light gauge strings for an acoustic. I do like the soft warm mellow tone of them, but they do lose crispness fairly quick due to the 80/20 Bronze composition, which an expected trade off to achieve the sound, so I change them fairly often to keep that great tone coming. They feel good while playing, and although it doesn't really matter, the gold color looks good in contrast with the darker color of my guitar! Good strings! A+++

perdí la cuerda 1 a los 3 segundos de empezar a ajustar, por lo demás estan bien, muy suaves, por suerte pedí el paquete de 2, asi que tuve que abrir el otro paquete / I lost the first strings 3 seconds after I started adjusting it, otherwise they are fine, very soft, luckily I ordered the 2 pack, so I had to open the other pack

I have a Taylor acoustic. It never quite gave me the sound I wanted. I adjusted the truss rod to lower the action. That made playing more comfortable, but didn’t drastically improve the sound.I’ve also tried three other guitar string brands with different gauges. Each time, I was slightly disappointed after putting them on and tuning.After a bit of research and reading reviews, I decided to give the Ernie Ball Rock & Blues strings a go.The only thing I can say is wow! My Taylor now sounds like I always thought it should. I really cannot believe that after all of the tinkering and trial/error over years, these guitar strings brought out the sound.I will use these on any acoustic guitar I ever own.
