Amazon Basics Outdoor 2-Person Patio Sling Glider Chair, 27.56"D x 47.24"W x 36.22"H, Brown

We have this slider outside on our deck. It’s great with the cushions and pillows we got to accessorize it. We live in Pleasant Grove, Utah (about 20 miles south of Salt Lake City. We have moderate weather but it’s under our eves. We love to sit and rock in the evening and watch the sun go down. We have a view of Utah Lake which makes the viewing pleasurable. We love our slider.

Super cute and easy to put together. Would recommend buying.

The media could not be loaded.  I was somewhat disappointed when I opened the box and started pulling plastic off the glider parts. There were 6 locations where parts had the powder coating chipped off. The powder coating is very thin compared to several pieces of outdoor furniture I've ordered recently. Since the glider is made of steel, I'm sure in our hot & humid summer weather there will be some rust starting quickly if I don't paint the chipped areas.The Amazon Basics Glider is very easy to assemble. I assembled it by myself however it would be much quicker with 2 people. The parts package includes an Hex/Allen Wrench and open end wrench for the buyers that don't have tools. I used an H4 Allen Socket and 10mm closed end wrench to speed up the assembly process. A ratchet with 10mm socket and the included Allen Wrench would also work well. The Assembly Manual is mainly pictures which are easy to understand. The hardware is marked both on the retaining card and in the manual but there are no spares, so be careful if your working on a deck or in grass. All of the parts went together well. Several of the nuts didn't want to thread onto the bolts easily however once started they all screwed on with no problems. As you can see in 1 pic, I used blocks of wood to raise the assembled seat to a level which made it easy for one person the install 4 bolts into the glide frame.As I assembled the unit I noticed the glider suspension arms seemed rather thin and light. The arm frames that hold the seat in place are beefy. Once all of the parts are bolted together, the glider is really solid and glides back and forth very smoothly without any squeaks.I really like the Textilene Seating. We have a Retro style glider which has metal seats. It is really uncomfortable when its hot and causes me to sweat. The Textilene seat allows air flow and is very comfortable. The glider is an attractive piece of outdoor furniture and compliments our Dulce Domi Patio Chairs & Table in the background which also came from Amazon.There is an old adage which states "You get what you pay for". Although I'm disappointed with the powder coating, this budget glider is really solid, nice looking, comfortable to sit in and glides smoothly. This reasonably priced glider should last a lot of years.

This an absolute nightmare to put together. Be warned!!

my husband and me were sitting and glider collapsed in middle... i weigh 170 and he weighs 181.... weak bar supports middle of glider... should not have collapsed
