works great
i have used it to make wheat flour and cornmeal. It works great for grinding one or two loafs worth of flour at a time. you will have to run it through twice for flour. I grind, shake it through a 1 or 0 sifter, then regrind whatever didn't go through. With the cornmeal, i use a bigger sifter. I would buy it again.

Great for what it is
The media could not be loaded. Have used this now 3-4 times and think it works great for what it is. I only need to grind up a cup of flour every few days, and this works just fine for that. If you need a lot more flour, then this probably is not the grinder for you. Reason being - I run the hard red wheat berries through 3 times so that I don’t risk overheating or overworking the kitchenaid or the grinder. I grind them first at the 3 line, then at the 1 line, and then as fine as it will go, below the 0 line. Results in a nice whole wheat flour, fairly finely ground. Be sure to prop your mixer bowl up on something so that it sits higher to catch all the flour. Also I use the ‘2’ speed setting as my preference.

works well for the coffee bean!
all I needed was to grind coffee any boydoes it work! Why spend more on a mill that may or may not do coffee beans? Ground 3lb bag in half the time the old electric one plus the tear down and cleaning is a breeze

Worth nothing
The first one was missing parts, the second did little to nothing to actually grind the grains. Cheap plastic product that is of little to no use. Do not buy this.

Works as needed
I have hard red wheat and popcorn I have run through this, worked fine. I used two different grinds for the wheat flour, a bit courser then another finer grind. Corn is a bit courser for corn meal. Was easy to take apart and put together as well as clean. I think it will work for what I need. I have another one that is all metal for meats.

Works Well but Not Practical for Fine Flour per Sourdough Bak
As a Sourdough Bread Baker I was hoping this mill could help me easily make bread from whole wheat berries. It can but the process required is too much effort for me so I have since ordered a stone grind mill (Mockmill 100) and hope that it will produce superior results. I have no complaints about the mill itself and it performs as advertised but the flour produced is not useful for my purposes after grinding the berries just once. The mill is very easy to use, disassemble and clean, no complaints there. After grinding berries, I did regrind the “bran” or larger grains after sifting them thru a 60 mesh flour sifter. The photos show the finer sifted flour and the residual bran grains (on the scale). The Fine Sifted flour is very similar in texture to store Whole Wheat flour and I think it will bake well, we will see. I used grind setting very close to #0 which the instructions tell you not to do.If you have the time and patience to grind, sift, regrind, etc. It works and maybe sifting and regrinding further you can get 100% good results from this $80 mill attachment so I suppose that might work for some folks. Here are the Stats for my Test Grind I used for this review:I ground 152g Hard Red Spring wheat berries from Palouse Farms in WA state (an Amazon purchase) on grind setting #1I sifted from that 32g of fine flour and 120g Bran or Larger Grains which I reground at about #0From that I got another 41g fine sifted flour, about 48% of the original berries.I stopped there.I don’t intend to be whining here, just trying to honestly relate MY experience.I will probably donate my mill to a friend or oto charity once my stone grind mill arrives.Hope this review is helpful.Sourdough Baker from Central Texas, USA.Nov 2nd: Additional Comment after further usage:First, after posting my original review above which apparently came off as negative, the company selling this mill messaged me offering a 100% refund. That’s seems like great customer service. I did not take them up on the offer. The mill works as advertised. Also, after recently milling Rye Berries as I did the wheat described above, from 200g Organic Rye Berries I got 150g Fine Rye Flour very similar to Bobs Red Mill Dark Rye Flour and 50g bran. I want to reiterate that the mill works fine and if I chose to I could continue to use it. I am still waiting on my Mockmill.

Nice Grain Mill and fairly priced compared to most on the market
If you want a Kitchenaid mixer grain grinder but without the crazy price, this a a nice one to get. It has many minute adjustments to get the flour you want. I'm happy with the hopper as well. I'm looking forward to using this for lots of various items from seasonings, grains to corn and more.
