Do a YouTube search for this model and you will see 1000' of people bitching about the C02 sensor on the new Champion Models. The Sensors are way to sensitive and keep shutting the generator down as soon as the wind changes direction and gets a different off its own exaust. After a month of talking to Champion nothing was resolved. Resulting in a Amazon Moneyback warranty to give me a refund!Stay away!

the product was easy to set up and to start. the only comment that I have to add is the location of the choke key. it was not that simple to find but otherwise a great generator.

For all previous Champion Generators I rate them at 5+ 🌟. This unit is the first/last that I'll buy with a CO Shield. Right out of the box it would start, but not run. Replaced CO Shield module. Better but still has not run more than 2 tanks of gas without a CO shutdown. When that happens it disconnects the remote start and makes you use the manual start, which resets the remote. All this is really a pain when you live off the grid and need a generator that is dependable. As I said earlier, I have never had an issue with a Champion Generator until now and plan on contacting the service department for instructions on how to disable the CO Shield.

had this generator in the box for over a year and opened it for the last hurricane in Florida Milton. Foud a part cracked and customer service sent me a new part quickly. The Generator started the first time I used it.
