PowerA Officially Licensed Mains Powered DualShock 4 Charging Dock (with AC Adaptor) (PS4)

I bought this dock along with a second DualShock 4 controller so that I wouldn't have to charge my controller(s) during gameplay. The dock is powered by an AC adapter (included) and plugs into the underside of the base. The cable was long enough to reach from the mains supply on the left of my TV whilst this dock sits on the right of my TV.The dock itself holds two DualShock 4 controllers and charges the controllers from the port next to the microphone, in between the two analogue sticks. You place a controller on the dock and firmly push down on the fixture which slots the plug into the controller followed by an audible click. The LED on the controller will glow orange which indicates that it is charging. When the LED is no longer lit, your controller is fully charged thus drawing no further current from the device. Once charging is complete you can click the fixture again to release the controller.An extra USB to USB-micro is included for whatever reason; it has no purpose for the dock but can be used to charge your controller from the PlayStation.The dock seems sturdy and works as intended.

One of the best charging docks I've tried so far because of its price as well as how easy it is to use and carry around. The design also makes it a slick-looking, convenient product. I like how there's no more hassle with having to get the controllers attached to the charging port because the charging dock has levers on each side that you push down on them to attach the controllers properly to the ports and to essentially initialise the charging (yellow) state of the controllers from the light bar. And when you want to take the controllers out of the dock, you just push on them from the top and it just clicks out of place just like that, simple and easy. To get it on, there would just be a simple click to indicate it's attached to the port. There is a charging port on the bottom of the controllers as well as the top, but this charging dock utilities the bottom one so the controllers can essentially sit on the dock as seen the product image on the box. This design aspect and feature of the dock makes it one of the easiest charging docks to use out there for sure.

This Sony PlayStation.4 charging dock is brilliant for the controllers.And the appearance is amazingly it also have it's an easy usage .IM just overwhelmed a great quality product. The stability of putting it into the dock is also amazing.The controllers doesn't seem to fall off.And I would honestly buy more of them if I still have my playstation 4

My DS4 gamepad has always had problems with charging via the micro usb in the back of the controller. Eventually it became so bad, I simply couldn't handle it anymore. A friend of mine reccomended I buy this, and lord I am happy I did. It uses a different charging mechanism from the micro usb, instead going in via the port near where the headphone jack is- and get this, it works like a dream. It charges fast, waay faster than my micro usb did in its prime. It also stays nice and secure while charging, so you can leave it be while you do other things. The only downside I can possibly think of is that you can't realistically use a controller while it is charging using this device, but that is fairly obvious by the design. I also can't say how useful it would be for you if you still are able to use the micro usb option, but if not this might be your savior.

Cheap, feels flimsy but does the job.

Great charger and stand for my two controllers. You just put the controller on the stand, give it a push and it clicks into place, you don’t have to worry about lining the controller up with the charger.. would highly recommend.

Excellent. Charges both controllers as it says in the description. It even powers down on one side if that controller is fully charged which is a great touch. This is also a really good stand for the controllers. The controllers fit in nicely into the dock. However, they can easily be removed with little force and this isn't a negative - I'd hate to put a lot of force to remove them.It's really simple to use. You just push the controller down and you hear a click as the plate covering the charger port goes down. If you have a Nintendo Switch then it's very similar to how the dock works. I'd recommend holding the controller with your thumb/index finger on the touch pad and then the other finger of those two just behind where the regular charging port is on the top. Then you just put it into the dock and you're good to go!

Only downside for me is that the plastic feels a little cheap and flimsy but it does the job and it's great it charges the controllers via plug socket and not via USB from the PS4. Means you can turn your PS4 off and have your controllers charging overnight.
