These tend to fall apart after about an hour of use for painting, so only really suitable for small painting jobs. But they're also useful for things like cleaning the tops of water bottles etc - good at getting into small spaces and better than little brushes at removing gunk build-up.

Pleased with these. Able to reuse a number of times for staining without falling apart like the cheaper ones I returned.

Arrived in good time.Does the job for what I’m using it for, craft making applying glue for decoupage.Not very robust, when cleaning you have to careful the sponge doesn’t detach from the wooden handle. Be very gentle when washing them. Not suitable for young children to wash them, they may not be so gentle.Otherwise it does the job but won’t last long term even with gentle use.

These are a great alternative to using paintbrushes. The one inch size is a convenient size and you can also use the sides if you want to paint a smaller area. They are also perfect for covering large areas of a canvas with paint and especially great for using with young children. I teach art and craft workshops and I am very pleased with them. The sponge soaks up the paint (acrylic mixed with water) and I found them easy to clean when I had finished using them. They are great value for money and the handle is easy to hold when using them.

Really good value. Have used brushes for both water and oil based paints. Water based paints wash out of the brushes very well, allowing you to re-use the brush. Oil based paints not so well, as white spirit dissolves the glue holding the foam to the handle, but both paints achieve a good finish. Would recommend.

Actually I bought these for use with grouting whitener. The whitener came with a large round sponge applicator which is way too big and didn't fill the grooves in the grouting and mainly covered the bathroom tiles. These sponges are angled so I squirted the whitener into a small container and used the sponge brush to apply the product. It works.

I purchased these to apply glue to the inside of wooden boxes prior to applying flock. They are really good for this and leave quite a smooth surface, unlike a brush. I have also tried these to apply varnish, but the coat gets applied quite thick.

Very good for crafts, and simple sit, sponge is solid, edges straight. I used it to paint edges of kitchen tiles, some wooden art as well as spreading a glue on large surfaces.Satisfied with the product.
