Excellent product. I use them for sunbathing so no enormous white bits round my eyes

I am giving three stars because they appear just like the ones advertised but I haven't used them as they're notsuitable for the task I had in mind

They do the job but found them a little uncomfortable to wear

Not my favourite colour but they do the job when I need to use them to protect my eyes from my Infrared lamp

After hearing from numerous sources, that these are the best sunbed goggles on the market, I couldn't wait to use them!I managed to get a hold of a Philips facial solarium recently, to banish the winter blues at home and get a nice glow, in the process. So I had fully read up on the risks of UV eye damage and what I needed to be fully prepared. So, upon receiving said goggles I firmly adjusted and tied the straps to fit these in place snugly, with no gaps in the peripheral at all.So, after a mere 3 minute session with these on, in front of my solarium and still with my eyes firmly closed under them. A minute or so after I had removed them my eyeballs began aching a lot and felt tender.Maybe I had them on a little too firmly, I thought.. Even though I fitted them as was recommended and they didn't feel tight at all, while wearing them...But yeah, could have just been the fit. I had read that anyone with larger or more prominent eyes/eyelids might find them uncomfortable. But I'll test them out again, to fully decide, I guess.I decide to do another 3 minute session, the next week. And what happens? Pain in my eyes, again a couple of minutes afterwards.This time, however, I test to see what kind of pain it is in my eyes. And it's NOT because the goggles were tighter or ill fitting around my eyeballs! I had sensitivity to light suddenly that was fairly painful and the aching felt like it was coming from inside my eyeballs, deep in my socket, rather than from where the edges of the goggles had been.I am now more or less convinced it was because of a lack of protection in the goggles, not because of the fit.My checklist being:Goggles were properly fitted and were tight enough to make sure there no gaps on the edges of the goggles. But, were not fitted too tighy as to cause pain or discomfort from the pressure. The goggles covered my entire eye area, including eyelids. Sat the recommended distance away from the sunbed. Still closed my eyes underneath the goggles, to make sure I was extra protected.And remember, I only had the goggles on the 3 minute sessions at a time and my eyeballs were aching for around an hour afterwards! With a lasting light sensitivity.Bad, bad, BAD! And dangerous!I never normally leave bad reviews (or any reviews for that matter) on things I buy, because normally there are plenty of reviews on everything, anyway.But I really feel like I need to leave this review because the product I received it NOT what was advertised and I really feel like I was not protected at all !!!PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU READ UP AND CHECK FOR YOURSELF BEFORE BUYING THESE!
