Took the gamble after reading reviews and was delighted to receive a brass coloured perfect condition item. Put it up and it looks like others have said, really nice and expensive. Yes it is cheaply made, but somehow as you can see in the pictures it looks great. Will be ordering another for the Bedroom. Does need a clear bulb and black/brass fitting not the standard plastic white or it looks cheap.

I was hesitant at first because I am a believer in "you get what you pay for" and this was only 40 quid so I was sceptical. But honestly, it is SO nice and I'm really happy with it. Super easy to fix onto the light and looks so expensive, I will say the brass isn't as shiney brass as in the photo and more of a brushed dark brass, but I actually prefer it not shiney I think it looks more antique.

After reading other reviews I was a bit worried as to what I would find when opening the box. However, it arrived a day early, very well packaged and with lots of bubble wrap. After a couple of minor adjustments (one strip of crystals had come apart and two others crossed over each other) it was ready to hang. I think it is good value and adds a touch of elegance to my bedroom. Am so pleased with the result.

I felt like i need to write a review for this product, because I was hesitating a lot before buying it mainly as there were no reviews. My main concern was whether it looks as nice as on the picture, because on the photo is looks really gorgeous. I could not believe that a light shade could look so good. It arrived yesterday, the next day after purchase (!!) and it actually looks 3 times nicer than on the picture! I could tell anyone I got it on Portobello road and this is a 19th century chandelier :) it is the central piece of my living room whether the lights are on or off.One of the best purchases ever and very good value for money.

I think this is really lovely it arrived well packaged and was not fiddly to put up. Looks really pretty. One very happy customer.

Looks great once up but really badly made , they sent the wrong colour but its too much hassle to return so I've used it , parts were broken and put together in the wrong way so I had to fix it before putting it up .Wouldn't but again .

Delighted with this light fitting. I'm mid decorating and wanted an inexpensive temporary lampshade that would throw out a lot of light in a dark hall and landing. It's just perfect, it provides lots of light, was easy to install and looks so much more expensive than it was. It looks so good, I'm seriously considering keeping this up post decorating.
