Flattering style & its comfy knit velvet. Im 5'3" 148 lbs & the Medium fits perfect. It falls about 3" below the knee. I purchased red velvet for a December Christmas wedding. I wear it with a poufy black tutu slip to enhance the skirt. (The type of slip they wore in the 1950's.) This really enhances the dress.

I loved the fit of the dress. I am a plus size gal and I hate my arms so I bought a sweater and I feel like a superhero. I wore it three times and everytime I was told how amazing I looked and they had to know where to buy this dress. A definite must have.

I have a hard time fitting inexpensive dresses like this at any size. I wear a 40G bra and my hips are 13" larger than my waist. (measurements currently 51bust,44waist,57hips). So I never start with high expectations when buying something like this. I know it isn't really going to be designed for my shape. I got the 5X. I normally wear a size 22dress. My measurements are slightly larger than the size chart, but aside from my hips I have plenty of room.All that said, I'm pretty pleased with this dress. Yes, it was a bit tight on the bust, I snipped out the modesty tack to stop it pulling weird. If I get ambitious I'll add a pleat or two above the bust to get the neckline to lay flat without the tack when I sit. Or I'll just re-tack or pin it lower than the original tack was so it fits my bust better. None of that really seems necessary when I'm standing but when I sit the fabric above my bust to the shoulders gapes but until I took the tack out, it pulled instead & left weird & unflattering lines cutting into my bust and still gaped to a degree. Imperfect but good enough.The hip measurements aren't listed on the size chart. I'm finding they seldom are on stuff made overseas & it drives me crazy. My hips are my largest measurement & I never know if the skirt will be full enough or not until I buy something. This skirt sadly isn't full enough. Almost, but not quite, and this is where the biggest problem is for me with this dress.The waist sits above my natural waist, I'm smaller there so it isn't tight at all on my waist. However, I get large, noticeable wrinkling of the fabric above each hip. Even when companies size clothing up for western customers, I suspect they're still basing their sizing off of women without significant curves. Some companies seem to be getting the message about bust sizing, as evidenced by the fact that my bust mostly fits into this dress at all, but the idea that women might have hips or butts with curve still doesn't seem to have reached anyone. Granted, I realize my hips are on the extreme end, but it's not a small difference in fit & I know I'm not the only woman to deal with fit issues in that general area. If the skirt on this dress were just a little fuller a little higher up, it would make room for women with larger hips or butts And be more flattering for women with larger stomachs as well without being unflattering on women who are smaller in those areas. I want to add, losing weight won't solve this problem. At one point in my life I had about 14% body fat & Still had a large enough difference in my hip vs waist measurement that I had the same issue. I'm losing weight now (been up & down on my weight a lot the last several years) but by the time I lose enough weight that the hips will fit the way they should the waist is going to far too large & I won't be able to wear this dress at all. It's very frustrating. (Please, please please make fuller skirts or at Least include hip sizes in sizing charts - please?)Problems with fit aside, it's comfortable. I appreciate that it's mostly cotton a great deal. The print is adorable. I bought it mostly to wear at home. We aren't trick or treating this year because of the pandemic so we're just trying to make the evening festive at home for my 9year old. The fit issues won't bother me around the house. Might make me a touch self-conscious to wear it outside of the house, but maybe not enough to stop me entirely.

Dress is beautiful! Very comfortable to wear and very flattering to my fuller figure. Dress has a nice stretch and lays beautifully. I’m VERY happy!!

Love the color and fabric of this dress, but an XL was too small. Have a similar dress from this company in that size and it fit well. Difference in this dress is it has no pockets, so a slightly different cut? Hoping it will fit my daughter because it really is pretty

Dress is awesome!! I Just need bigger chest to fill it 🤣. I still sported it out on the town and had compliments. Cut is perfect with or without the Petticoat Crinoline underneath… reminder it does not come with it so if you want the 50’s poof order it separately. You will still need a slip of some type.I will be taking it to be altered for the chest arms area.. but if you have a little time it is a really cute dress. And what ever you do…DO NOT undo the stitch they put in the chest area thinking it will help….it doesn’t. It makes things much worse… like gosh maybe I need to stuff my bra worse…needless to say I had to pin it🧷🧷. That singles simple stitch is there for a reason . 😆 fit I ordered the large and I normally wear size 12 or large I am a 36- c It is definitely made for someone DD with dainty arms. Waste and length were absolutely perfect.. zipped nicely. So this dress will become a $75+dress but it’s cute.
