The backward curved centrifugal blade is dynamically balanced with a german manufactured 'external rotor' motor to offer high airflow rates, excellent performace with low noise. Additionally, Black Orchid are now the first company to comply with the new EU Energy Efficiency Directive by offering energy efficient labels with every Centri-flo in line extractor fan. Complies to the new EU Energy Efficiency Labeling Law It is now a legal requirement (Jan 2016) for all extractor fans to display energy efficiency information. The EU energy label gives information about the energy efficiency of a product. The label rates products from dark green (most efficient) to red (least efficient). The label also shows total energy consumption and provides other information relevant to the product, in this case the airflow and noise level on the extractor fan.
