Crochet Impkins: Over a million possible combinations! Yes, really!

If you love to crochet and you love fantasy then this book is 1,000 times for you and I highly recommend it!!This was actually my first time crocheting patterns by this designer, although I do have her Mythical Creatures book I have not actually made one yet. I can never nail down a decision for where i want to start lol!These patterns are very well written. This designer is amazing and you can trust her patterns. I did think I had made a mistake and was attaching the arm of my first on too far back. I did find the facebook group helpful for support and I also learned if I had just looked at the front I would have noticed it looked great and I had nothing to worry about.I ahve been crocheting for over 15 years now and making amigurumi regularly for at least 5, was a pattern tester for another designer for 2 years. This designer does some things with stitches I have not seen in other patterns, but it is all very well explained. I actually found it very interesting and I love it.I would say that due to the complexity of some of the stitches used this is more of an intermediate skill level or maybe advanced beginner. If you are not there yet, for sure come back to this after you gain a bit of experience. So worth it!This book will really get your creativity flowing!! At least, it did for me. There are so many options and possibilities. There are so many Impkins that I can not wait to make. It is so much fun! I've made 4 Impkins in about a week already! Highly recommend getting this book!

My creative mind wants to make them all lol I can see this being an awesome gift for a crafty teenager or adult. Directions are very well explained and there's a FB page the author is on actively so if you get stuck others or even her will jump into help. It's been a very fun experience!

Absolutely incredible book! Patterns are well written, easy to follow, and a ton of fun to customize. Plenty of pictures as well as video links included for any tricky parts. Impkins work up surprisingly fast, probably because being able to make each one unique means there's no room for boredom. These little guys (not to even begin to mention the beautifully written, whimsical backstory/description in the beginning of the book) have completely stolen my heart! Even if you decide to make something that there may not be a specific pattern for it's easy to flip through and pick from the patterns Megan does offer to create what you're looking for - I included my "Luffykin" as an example - his straw hat is just the base of the mushroom hat! That's the beauty of "Crochet Impkins" - not only are there "Over a million possible combinations", it also inspires one to think "outside the book" to create whatever their heart desires, and the odds are pretty good that there are patterns included to help make that vision come to life.

There are so many customizations and options the possibilities are endless. They are all so cute.

I wasn't quite sure when I ordered this book but I am extremely happy. this book has beautiful pictures and really easy to follow directions. So far I have just been reading through the book but can't wait to get started on my own Impkins.

So easy to read and build your adventure style is so fun.

Some of the patterns are a little hard to follow but I was able to figure them out. I didn't like the way the belly part looked so I didn't use that piece and adapted accordingly. I like that it has various patterns for ears, wings, horns etc. that I can use on other creations. I've made 8 so far and it's fun with all the different options.

This book is filled with so many options, you will be making Impkins for a long time. Easy to follow, great ideas.

Creative! Fun! (not for the faint of heart lol) but the author encourages people to contact her for any support they may need with her patterns - and makes herself available to answer questions - she's awesome!

I really love this book, I haven't had the time for making all the combinations I'd like to yet but just the sheer variety of body parts and accessory options that you can combine however you like is amazing! The book is also very clear, well explained and written, with the patterns providing very accurate results! Can't wait to keep crocheting more impkins!

Fantastiskt vacker och pedagogisk bok som passar både den vane och nybörjaren inom virkning. Enda knepiga var att alla referenser till garn var enbart på amerikansk engelska så det tog lite tid att förstå vad hon menar. Samtidigt hänvisar hon till europeiska enheter när det gäller nålar. Fast ingen stor sak att hänga upp sig på. Jag är kär i denna bok helt enkelt.
