Not quite oem
Works for the old farm truck but if I was restoring one I would go with a oem one. I only need the mirror and it bolted perfectly to the stock mount.

Does what is expected for a non-OEM replacement part
Very easy to swap out, came with all parts needed. They are not a perfect fit for original gaskets. The mirror housing is plastic and such I have no faith that it will maintain its shiny coating for long. However the rest seems to be some sort of steel that will last just as long as OEM. I haven't driven it yet, but it seems to fit snug and works just as I'd hoped.

Nice Mirrors for the Money, Fits anything with a Door
Good value for the money. Although this is billed as a Ford replacement I think it will fit anything with a door. I put it on an 88 Toyota Pickup (Base Model). It fits fine.Install is easy, Line up the mirror where you want it, mark it, Drill two holes slightly smaller than the plastic lag inserts (that come with it). Insert plastic lag, Put rubber backing plate on the mirror mounting hinge and put in the screws. Tighten all bolts when adjusted. All Done..looks good.....pat yourself on the back..Have a beer :)Assembly note: Lower attachment bracket is up-side down for shipping, Take bolt out and flip it over. For us "GUYS in the world"...If all else fails..read instructions. Everything you need is included except a drill, a bit,a phillips screw driver, and a Beer.Cons: A little vibration at highway speed (not worth a star deduction). But for the money..great deal.Packing: Very good..In a heavy display Box (open top) with vacuum fit, heavy clear plastic, holding it in. It's a "display box" just like at the auto parts store. They can't hurt it unless UPS runs over it with their truck.Of course The U.S. postal service is another story all together.

More junk from China, NOT OEM
This mirror is NOT OEM. It is a cheep Chinese nock-off and it's crap. The screw holes do line up but the brackets are a different size and do not cover the blemish left by the original mirror bracket. The mirror housing is smaller than the original and it sits down further on the door than the original. I do not like the look of this mirror at all. The bracket and arm are very cheap and flimsy. They are not the thickness or quality of the original. Someone needs to explain to the Chinese that OEM means Original Equipment Manufacturer, that would be a company contracted by Ford to produce parts that went on the assembly line and on to new vehicles or a company that took new vehicles from the factory and customized them either on an order by the purchasing customer through the dealership and then the factory or by special order from the factory for a special edition vehicle that the factory was not tooled to produce. It will work until I can either find a good one somewhere else or I go to a junk yard and take one off of a 97 F Series pick-up truck that was actually made by Ford or a real OEM!!Update: Several months after installing this POS mirror, the ball that it sits on loosened up, not the mirror just spins in the wind. When eve I need to use it I have to roll down the window and point the mirror where I need it. When I let go the wind moves it to a different position. Pure junk!!

cheapo mirror
the mount that holds the mirror is so small when I open the corner window for air it hits the mirror. the screws also don't match up what was in the door. the black grommet is super flimsy not even close to fords i can see it cracking apart in a couple years.

Cheap and broken
Just opened my package and could not have been more diapointed. The mirror housing is plastic and would not stand up to a large insect strike in my opinion. The bracket to hold it onto the vehicle was thin and flimsy and poorly machined. The final straw was when I tool it out of the package and turned it over their was no mirror! The whole mirror setup looked terrible and was useless. This is going back and I am going to go hit the junkyad now that I have seen just how nasty this can get.

Great product
We got this for my husband's 1989 Ford F250. It fits perfect it is easy to install. Really recommend it. We didn't have any problems at all with it. It looks perfectly matches the other side probably everything lined up nicely. I highly recommend this product if you have to replace your system. It's not cheap so it won't fall apart
