About this item Designed and made by hand in the UK from the highest quality, food-safe Platinum-cure silicone rubber. A quality product. Our moulds will not split or tear unlike cheaper, mass produced items. No odour or stickiness. Excellent release properties making the demoulding of sugarpaste cake decoration essentially trouble-free, without the need for release agents. Can also be used for other projects, using resin, fimo, wax, soap, cold porcelain and many other materials. Finished impression size approx 30mm x 40mm. Add skull decorations to your Halloween cakes, quickly and easily using the 3D Skull mould from FPC Sugarcraft. With minimal effort you can create 3D Skulls that can be added to large Halloween cakes or cupcakes if you are looking for a bold topper to make them stand out. It can also be used to make the head of a skeleton model to fit in with horror themed cakes. We recommend using flower or modelling paste when using silicone moulds as it holds its shape when removed from the mould. To use, lightly dust your mould with corn flour or icing sugar and tap out the excess. Push the paste into the mould and remove and excess paste. Turn the mould over and push out your finished peice. It couldn’t get any easier than that! Allow them to air dry completely before colouring them. You can dust the finished pieces using petal dusts, paint them using a few drops of lemon extract with your dusts or even airbrush them to achieve lovely shading and realistic effects. You will achieve beautiful results every time with this high quality, flexible food grade silicone mould. FPC have a great selection of moulds for use with sugarpaste, flower paste, chocolate, isomalt, gumpaste and also non-edible products like Fimo, wax, soap, etc. Their moulds are heat tolerable up to 250˚C, however they are only recommended for use with sugarpaste, gumpaste and non-edible products listed above. Full instructions are included it the pack. Total mould design measures approximately: 1.75" x 1.4" x 1".
