Hood lift support cylinders
The ease of installation is what I wanted ,uses factory bolts for install, was done in 20 minutes

Possibly defective material on shocks.
Installed product in about 20 min. Closed and opened the hood twice to check fitment and shock adjustment screw snapped. Please help replace one shock. I'm assuming product was defective.

Great hood lift kit
The kit was a great modification versus the stock hood prop rod! Admittedly, I was skeptical that such little hydraulic rods would support the weight of the hood. But, it did it easily! Once you unlatch the hood and give it a little lift the supports take over. Not only that. But, it slows down prior to full extension and comes to a gentle stop. I have other vehicles that originally have these. But, to buy an aftermarket kit that installs so easily is such a great value and convenience. My only gripe, which is small, is that the instructions weren't extremely detailed. I'm mechanically inclined and was able to figure out the minute details. But, think it could've been better.

DANGEROUS! DO. NOT. BUY.
UPDATE: DANGEROUS! After about 5 months the product couldn't hold up well. The pins broke and ball caps snapped right off with just a normal closing of the hood! DO NOT BUY! THIS CAN SERIOUSLY HURT, OR EVEN KILL YOU! THIS PRODUCT SHOULD BE TAKEN OFF OF AMAZON!Holds up the hood well, however, has a bit of a problem fitting in on the left side and has popped out once within the last 5 months of owning it, bought another clip from Menards, fashioned it in and now it holds...for now. Wasn't worth the price though, maybe more at $40 if it's not going to work out of the box correctly.

awesome look, tight fit but able to take a hammer and make little dents to make the ends fits, not noticeable but makes it look really clean when you open that hood, really easy to install, easier than i thought.

Strut broke upon install
The top clip on one of the struts broke immediately. The hood bracket tends to move when tightening the bolt.

Would not hold my hood up.

Overly priced
Do not buy. Save your money and spend it on something with better quality. Item came in an open open/damaged box and now this seller won’t refund me my full money since there’s a re-shelving fee. The product was also sketchy to have on, not sure if id trust it to hold the hood over my head while I work on the car.
