Solid brass Y1 key blanks
I received the key blanks a few days ago and have already needed one. These are very good quality and cut smooth. So far 100% success rate. I will be buying other key blanks from this supplier.

Exact replacement
I used to be a locksmith, and now I am a "hobby locksmith". I have an old key cutter, and I make keys for all the neighbors no charge. These keys blanks are an exact shape and thickness to use in Yale residential locksets. If you are a professional locksmith, these key blanks should be in your inventory. The price is reasonable.Always remember, you can't make a key of you don't have the key blank. Get some today!

Quality Nickel Plated Brass KW1 Keys
These nickel-plated brass KW1 blanks are of high quality and up to manufacturer specs. I'm a licensed locksmith and have used these blanks to cut keys for customers. All keys cut from these blanks have performed flawlessly thus far.Nickel-plated brass keys are stronger and more durable than plain brass keys and will hold up better over time. The only downside to nickel-plated keys is that they produce a little more wear and tear on key machines and key cutters. This set is definitely a value proposition considering the price per unit. I can confidently recommend them, and I plan to purchase more of these when my stock starts running low.

Doesn't fit some cylinders.
They look right, but at the bottom of the blade( aka, bottom of the cylinder), on some locks, it was very difficult, or wouldn't go in. When I was re-keying a cylinder, I couldn't get it back in, and after checking the pins twice, I noticed that the bottom of the key was sticking out. (Didn't get a picture), I had to take a small belt sander to it, ( and all the rest). I have tons of actual Schlage keys, (already cut), and none of them are off. It seems to be on about 30% of the locks I re- key.

Not as advertised
The description says the key blanks are brass, but there's either iron or steel mixed in with the brass as an alloy, so it isn't completely brass. We figured it out because a magnet will pick up the key blanks, and if they were solid brass, that wouldn't happen, similar to how a magnet will pick up stainless steel. Husband is concerned that, because they are magnetic, they will rust.
