Good deal
Just as the add stated. I have no problem putting 700-800 pounds on this. If i needed to lift much more, I don’t think I would put much faith in any of these shop cranes. This one seems to be built well and will do everything I need it to do. It was worth the price.

Crap
No instructions and the hole on the ram wasn't drilled all the way through. I had to take it to a machine shop and have them finish drilling the hole. Overall a crappy product that I wouldn't buy again

Nice for the price.
Definitely not bad for the price. Pretty easy to assemble.

For the price it is okay
I bought this for a single engine swap job. I wanted the cheapest hoist I could get. Previously I had ten twenty year old harbor freight version. Sold thinking never need it again. This looks like it will work. Assembly instructions were okay, but not really needed. But this is built to s price point. Some of the thinnest box steel. The wheels look okay, but the swivels holding those wheels are very cheap. Don't expect them to last. You should get some big washers or large diameter nuts to take up slop spacing at top and bottom of lift cylinder. Might be a good idea to up grade bolts. But if you are careful this should do the job. My case I am only lifting a four cylinder aluminium block. Not much weight. I would not try to lift max weight with this. But the price meets my needs.

it performs the job
easy'ish to put together. there were some things they definitely cut costs on but used it to swap an engine out of my old chevy truck seemed good enough the main cylinder started dropping after holding it for a while though.

Amateur use? - It’s good to go!
No instructions? Yep, turned out to be true but maybe it’s a test. If you can’t McGyver this, maybe you shouldn’t be swapping engines. Took about 30 minutes and a beer to assemble. I’ve owned two other well loved auction find cherry pickers and this seems just as solid. Sure, they all seem rickety until loaded. I just don’t see anything wrong with it. Top professional level? Maybe not but it’s totally fine. Casters are decent. Longest ram of any of I’ve seen - not that straight up is useful other than maybe hanging an elk but it goes nearly fully erect. I’ll immediately update if I find something to cuss about but for now, I was really reluctant to order based on other reviews but I feel good. I trust it as much as any I’ve used. Note- load leveler not included. P.s.s. - of course it’s another 5.4 in the picture 🙄
