Magnetic TIG Welding Torch Holder, MIG TIG Welding Accessories With Strong Magnet Base, Small

The magnet is a lot stronger than I expected. I did have to glue the magnet into cup as it would pop out if you hit it just right.

Very amateur welder here... I don't want to spend a lot on accessories while I am learning the craft and I needed a stand to hold my MIG gun. This is nothing fancy but does the job. The magnet is reasonably strong and sticks to a steel sheet pretty sturdily. The notches in the stand do a good job holding the MIG torch. No complaints. Not sure what a better or more expensive holder would do that this one doesn't.

This welding torch is great for production welding. It has a strong magnet and many different slots for different styles of torches. My only gripe is that the metal surrounding the magnet is too close to the surface the magnet sticks to. This has cause me to arch out on the torch holder several times. It either needs a thicker magnet or a silicon sleeve on the metal surround.

I was in the garage TIG-ing a hose clamp to add a loop to secure something to the clamp and every time I let off the trigger to readjust or grab rod or anything else, I had to set the torch down then fumble to pick it back up to continue. This stand makes it so that you can pause, stow the torch to do what you need to then grab the torch and away you go again.The metal of the stand is very, maybe overkill, sturdy and I do not think it will bend. The different openings in the stand will accommodate a variety of torches on the market and other items that you just lay down and pick back up.The magnet is really strong and the combination of the stand and the magnetic base make for a strong and sturdy tool for making welding more efficient.Putting the stand together takes about a minute. A 10mm socket and a #2 Phillips screwdriver are the needed tools. Tighten the nut on the bolt through the stand and the base and that is that.I would recommend this to anyone that likes to tinker and even those that are way more professional than that, unless you are too cool to use such an implement.Nice product.

This is a really good addition to a welding table. I've mainly used stick welders and oxy/acetylene torches in that past and having a stand or holder really wasn't an issue. As I started using flux core, Mig, and plasma cutters more, it was harder to find a place for the torch and having them fall off a table was not good; too many things to break or bend.This really simple stand is perfect. I had to get creative to hold a Mig/flux core torch, but it looked on good and solid. The magnet that comes with the holder is super strong so it is as close to a permanent fixture on the table as you want to get. The only issue I had was putting it together. The magnet is kept grabbing the screw and nut as I was juggling parts to assemble. Other that that, this is awesome! I will probable end up with another one or two to keep multiple tools handy on the workbench.

This holder is such an excellent all around product. It is very well thought out and super versatile. It is simple, dependable, and well built. It will hold all forms of torches from mig and tig welding, plasma cutters, and flame torches like oxy acetylene. It will also hold most spray guns in a nice upright position, as I show in my pictures. The build quality is great with smooth burr free edges, straight bends, and a powder coat finish. The magnet is no joke and will support heavy torches and the weight of their cables with no problem. You can mount it on top of the table, on the side, or under it. The magnet doesn't care and will hold no matter where you stick it. This is one of those things that once you have it and get use to it's convenience, you just can't imagine going back to being without it. It keeps your torch off the ground and your cables untangled. It's just a must have tool that I am so happy I now have. I highly suggest you get one.

Prior to owning this, I just laid my stinger down wherever I could. The design is so simple and genius. I wish I would have thought of it. lolThe magnet on this is pretty strong so I don't have to worry about it slipping off of whatever I've attached it to.So genius!

Husband has just started to get into welding, and this torch holder has been really helpful. It's super sturdy, really well made, and the magnet on it is really strong. This is a really smart addition to any workshop.
