Un boxed, looks like the old one except for the gas tank. If it works as well as the old one l’ll be happy, especially if the two pieces of the discharge pipe stay together.

I don't know what 'drying power', is (in the 'rate features'), but it has a lot of driving power. During the summer when there's only a few leaves and branches blown around the property, I just leave it on idle as I sweep along the walkways and parking area. It's amazing how much power it has on idle. Plus it's super-quiet in the idle setting. In the Fall when it's time to 'de-leave' the lawn I use varying speeds easily 'corralling' the leaves into a neat rectangle pile which I blow onto a medium sized tarp folded over and dragged into the woods. Value for cost is five plus. You'll love this little giant. (Check your state laws for use.)

This is a very light blower and really does a good job on my yard.

Before purchase, I read the product reviews which referenced the extension tube flying off during use and then thought, well, they probably aren't correctly installing the tube. They were actually correct! It flies off during use despite having it correctly attached in with the grooved notches. I therefore had to use duct tape to keep it on.
