Silver Solder
Great product. This silver solder worked fantastic in fixing one of my broken silver ring. I have several other pieces of silver jewelry that are in need of repair and I also plan to use this silver solder when I repair those items as well.Really good quality and a great price.

Just right for those small projects
The solder came nicely packaged which could be a problem with such thin solder. Using the proper flux, I found the solder to be easy to use. A little can go a long way.

As described, works as expected
I had no problem using this with a butane torch. The plastic container seemed a bit wasteful to me at first because I'm trying to reduce dependence on plastic, but at least it does protect the solder and keep it from getting tangled with other materials in the soldering tools kit. I noticed a reviewer mentioned that the solder that is marked as easy is actually hard (related to the temperatures needed to melt it). My soldering experience has been mostly with electronics at even lower temperatures and the jewelry soldering I've done has been with solder that was given to me, so I don't have a reference point regarding the distinction between the different categories. If this is marked incorrectly, then I would lower my rating because I believe that is important. But from my own usage, I can't tell, so I will leave it at the full rating for now, but for those that need a specific temperature range, it may be worth noting the other review that mentions this.

Hard not easy temperature solder
This solder is actually hard solder, it's listed as easy, but from what I was told the temperature range of this solder is higher. The reason this matters is because you might want to use the hard solder on the first solder joint, then work the rest with medium and easy. Because it won't remelt the solder you just put on. Make sure you clean the surface really really well with sandpaper, or a pickle solution. Otherwise it won't stick. Another problem I came across was the flux has to be hard solder flux. I have one for precious metals that has boric acid in it. It worked well when I made sure to do all that. I used a butane torch. It held a lot tighter than any soft/tin based solder I used. I was soldering brass to brass.

Good for repair or custom.
I used this solder wire to fix a couple older rings I had to resize larger. It worked great for the job. Now that I have alot left over I'm thinking of trying a few custom projects. But it was definitely easy to melt and kept me from overheating my Sterling silver. I'm just a novice at jewelry soldering, I'm used to copper pipes. But this was a quick and easy fix to my ring resizing job for my wife.

Work well
This works well. Melts easily and creates a nice, solid hold. I didn't think I would enjoy the process as much as I did!

Works as expected
I used this wire to repair several pieces of jewelry. It melts fine. The smaller gauge works best for small projects. I can get more precision without the metal clumping. I would recommend this wire.

Not as easy as I thought.
This is regarding the YEJJET 5 Feet Silver Solder Wire 22 Gauge Extra Easy Silver Solder for Silver Jewelry Repair. The easiest of the solder from this company, should be easy to work with, perhaps with a finish that isn't as good.I cleaned the joint, added flux, heated to 700 C, melted the solder onto the joint... and it doesn't stick to anything! I can't even get it to stick to itself. It's easy to melt, and the buck stops there. My experiance with this is limited, so I am giving the product the benifit of the doubt; however, as someone with limited experiance the term 'easy' may be stretched thin.Perhaps they should consider a brief instruction paper, there is plenty of room in the box for it.It may be an okay purchase at this price point, if the problem is my own application.

It's solder...as listed
Yup, it is what it says it is. 22 gauge silver solder. It performs exactly as I expected...I used it on a sheet of 92.5 silver, and it reacted just like it should, at least it did until my fuel ran out. Now, I do have to say that I only got 4'11" inches of solder, so I'm out a whole inch! Otherwise, it's fine.
