Fluker's Live Crickets, 500 Count Feeder Insects for Reptiles, Chickens, and Birds, Medium (Approx. 1/2")

Crickets were very well packed and had very good ventilation. Crickets were kept at post office over weekend. They were alive, healthy and they had no bad smell. The crickets size were perfect. I will definitely buy again.

I don't know how to write this review without sounding like it's a paid advertisement. I have no affiliation with Flukers. I honestly don't know the first thing about them, other than they also make cricket food that I've purchased in my local pet store. Now on with the review!Before trying Flukers, I ordered medium-banded crickets from several other companies based on price and delivery speed. I've been pretty disappointed with those orders. I've gotten wild variations on cricket sizes and I usually get what looks like half the amount I ordered.I've placed my last few orders with Flukers, and they have been the most consistent. They get to me relatively fast, about three business days (I'm in Atlanta), and they're packed well and mostly alive. I have no idea if there are 500 in the small box, and I could never count them. But, I'm happy with the amount. The big difference seems to be the way they're packed. They use egg crate material that's neatly layered in the box to keep the little guys and gals from getting tossed around like beads in a maraca. And, the price is great. If I got the same amount of crickets from my local pet store it would cost 10 times what I pay. Overall it's a great value and I plan to keep ordering from Flukers.I've received nothing in return for this honest review. So there.

Every 1,000 plus large cricket was alive! All healthy and active. VERY well packed and time was spent to pack them correctly. I will be ordering from only this distributor.

I had 1 shipment that took about 8 days and left all but 10 alive. The company quickly sent out another shipment that took about 4 days and about 30 survived that time. The company quickly and graciously gave me back my money within a few hours. This made my view of the company even better and I will definitely buy other products in the future. Oh and the crickets that were alive were very lively and are still live days later so I count that as a win.

Package was delivered quickly and a good percentage of the crickets were still alive upon arrival.

Expensive. Half arrived dead on 4/2 or died in two days 4/4. I did like the container that held them.

A+ arrived chirping and happy. Healthy and ready for liquids! Will feed a crested gecko, two bearded dragons and three quail chicks!

The shipping is fast, arriving within two days. The crickets arrived alive, with only about 10% dead. Everything else is in good condition. Not too bad overall.
