I couldn’t be happier with my North Face Recon backpack. I use it daily for work and travel, and it’s hands-down one of the best backpacks I’ve owned.The laptop compartment is well-padded and fits my 15” laptop perfectly. There’s also plenty of space in the main compartment for books, clothes, or gear, plus a ton of smartly placed pockets to keep everything organized. The front pocket is great for quick-access items, and the fleece-lined pocket is perfect for sunglasses or a phone.The best part? It’s incredibly comfortable to wear, even when fully loaded. The padded straps and back panel provide great support, and the sternum strap helps with weight distribution. It also feels super durable—classic North Face quality.If you need a reliable, versatile backpack that looks good and performs even better, this is it. Highly recommend!

I think north face makes some of the best back packs. The number of convenient pockets for your carry on items, to the space they have for your computer or laptop is cleverly put together. There are convenient pockets everywhere on this bag. And above all it is a very attractive looking bag. Whether you use it for hiking, traveling, or using it for school - it should be the top of everyone's shopping list. If i had one complaint it would be that they come up with better colors that might serve people with more conservative tastes. Some of the color combination that they have are just downright ugly, but i guess they have to offer a wide range for people (who don't have good taste in colors). ;)

The zippers? Still zipping. The straps? Still supporting my questionable life choices in book selection!With all the pockets, I feel like I could hide a small village in there. I’ve got a pocket for my laptop, a pocket for my water bottle, and even a secret stash for the candy I hide from my study group (shhh, don’t tell!).Overall, this North Face Recon backpack has been an absolute gem for carrying my books and the weight of my academic stress. Pay attention to the fact it says One Size. When I received it, it did seem smaller than expected. However, it holds a good amount of stuff. For me, it holds my 17" laptop, laptop case, laptop charge, binder, pencil pouch, mouse, wallet, keys, headphones, and water bottle. These are all the essentials I carry with me every day. They fit well, but as soon as another thing is added I have to reach for things a little. This is especially true for the very front pocket. The mesh front doesn't hold as much as you would expect it to. Another thing to add is that it doesn't have a luggage strap on the back.Functions as meant to.

Great bag. My son uses this in college and holds his computers and books perfectly. This bag has held up and looks perfect after a rough year of college. Easy to clean and doesn’t look dirty ever.

Great product and very spacious for all my gear laptop sleeve is well padded but I’d still have a case for your laptop. Definitely spacious as I’ll be carrying my camera and lenses as well.
