I enjoyed every bit of the mythical meats( animal flavors)I think each flavor was overall wonderfully done. Even some of the exotic meats had slightly different textures and feel when eating, the box was nice and I will be using it to hold dice!The flavors themselves was the highlight of the meats and less so than the actual “exotic” animals that the meats have in them. I’m very happy that the number one meat what’s not beef but was the new animals and beef was usually second!

This box of mythical meats is so great! The meat sticks come in a very nice wood crate which is sure to impress and great to use afterwards (hello new dice holder!). The meats are packaged with great fantasy names! You don't have to play DnD to appreciate these names but it sure makes my geeky self over the moon! The taste is spot on! Not too salty and just enough flavoring. You get that snap you expect from "meat sticks" which is very satisfying.This would make a great gift for any fantasy gamer in your life! I'm totally keeping mine they are so good but now I know what to get my DnD group for Christmas next year. Nat 20 with these mystical meats!

If you need a Christmas gift that can WOW, look no further! This collection of Mythical Meats sticks arrives in a branded wooden box with metal brackets; it’s very decorative and after you’ve finished the sticks it can be reused. In our family, we ended up keeping our collection of card decks inside, but it will fit a wide variety of things.The meat snacks themselves have brilliant packaging inspired by mythical creatures, D&D, and even Santa’s reindeer. We had a lot of fun sampling the different varieties and did not mind that a few flavors were duplicates. The flavors were good and the sticks were tender and enjoyable to eat. It’s definitely a premium product compared to the meat sticks we’ve picked up at gas stations and truck stops on long road trips. We will probably order these again for ourselves and we also plan to gift a few boxes to friends that love snacks and have a geeky sense of humor.

These snack sticks are a ton of fun. I love the mythical animal twist they bring to a meat stick. They also incorporate different meat into them, say like boar or elk or alligator, with your basic beef, pork, or chicken. This lends a slightly different flavor which just adds to the fantasy element.I haven't tried all of them but the ones I did were very good quality. The texture was nice, the casing had a good snap to it. The flavors were on point. None of them have been dry or anything.My only issue is that they show 20 different meat sticks on the page for this product. They do not represent what you actually get. Several were in my box but then I had two sticks from a Dungeons and Dragons line (one was a snack for a cleric and one a snack for a wizard). Then there were four reindeer snack sticks (Rudolph, Cupid, etc.) and those had duplicate flavors (there were only two different meat combos/flavors for the four reindeer).I expected to get what was shown, other than that this is a great product. The price is about $3 a meat stick which is a fair price. And they come in an awesome wooden crate (I was expecting some cardboard thing that looked like wood, it isn't...it is an actual wood crate!) with a hinged lid and clasp and everything. It is great for gifting or just for yourself.I would have gone five stars because the price is very reasonable for what you get, they are really good quality, and it is so much fun! But the listing not being accurate to what you get drops a star for me. I don't like bait and switch type stuff, just be up front about what you are selling.

Great theming and such a fun idea. The sticks themselves have a perfect texture and great flavors. The names/styles are hilarious and no two were the same in our box. An amazing gift for a fan of meat sticks with a sense of humor.

These sounded interesting, so I thought I'd give them a try. Turns our they're probably the best meat sticks I've ever had.They come well packaged in a wooden box. The company name is emblazoned on the lid in a Harry Potter style font. The box is reasonably sturdy and can be repurposed once you finish all the sticks.The sticks themselves are good size. They also have excellent flavor and are not greasy like some meat sticks. I've tried three of the flavors so far, and they've all been great. Great quality and taste. Plus a cool box.I'll definitely get more of these in the future.

Mythical Meats has put together this loot crate, treasure chest, meat locker, or whatever you want to call it. It's got some really nice mixed venison and beef sticks with some seasonings to keep it interesting!'Tis the season and a few of my jerky sticks are Rudolph, Blitzen, Dancer, and Cupid! There's also Bigfoot, Basilisk, Troll, and Mermaid! I really love these and I can tell you right now that good old Rudolph has a nice zing to it!
