Worth the money for new umpires!
Great kit for guys and gals just getting in to umpiring without breaking the back. Used for a few years before upgrading a new piece year over year. Chest protector is decent enough for lower level high school ball (JV). Moved to a hard shell as quick as possible seeing as how it protects vital organs. Definitely worth the money to get you in the door!

Good light weight gear
Have used this all season, took many balls off the facemask including one last night that was a direct fastball about 70mph that the catcher missed, rung my bell a little but no deformation on mask and pads absorbed most of it. Chest protector I put the extension on has worked awesome barely notice hits there and on the leg protector, the brush I love its great. The ball bag however Nope garbage seams blew apart at the top and ruined it from being held on by a belt. I have replaced it with something more robust but out of this kit it is the only thing I have found flaw with.

Getting into umpiring, this is what you need. Good equipment for the price and will make your back working games on this set. Great value and quality.

Good starter kit
Very good quality kit for any umpire starting out. The shin guards fit nicely and the mask has survived well after taking quite a few foul balls this summer. The chest protector is decent but I will be upgrading that eventually. Overall, it is definitely worth the price and great for someone starting out in the umpiring world. 10/10 recommend
