This is very generic looking wizard hat which works well for Halloween costumes. Is big enough for a grown adult and big enough for a funny looking hat on a kid. It is well put together and I would say it is very sturdy because it holds its creases...

It definitely is a well made felt had, but sadly by head didn't fit it well....it keeps falling down over my eyes. I put it on my hubby for reference and I think it would make a great Gandalf the Grey accessory!The felt is thick! -almost 1/4 inchComes with a twine tieWill use it as a "Sorting Hat" in my classroom when I teach Harry Potter books so it was still worth it. I like that it doesn't take up much room for storage.Fun for Cos-play, Halloween, teens- men (or large cranium/big haired women) :)Comes well packaged.No odors.

This hat is well made with thick felt. It is fairly large which is great because it fits my large head. It might be too large for a child. My only issue is that it came folded and vacuum packed so it's pretty wrinkled. I tried running it through the drier but that only helped a little bit.

I've got a pretty large head, usually large enough that one size fits most costume hats are just a bit too small to fit me well, but this one fits easily. The conical shape may mean some smaller heats will get a bit more covered up by the hat and its brim but for a wizard or scarecrow look, that's almost what you'd be looking for. The included rope was so so - not sure what length they really wanted that to be but if you want the added feature, its there and it works. For a $15 costume hat that fits, I can't complain.

Definitely a better wizard hat than scarecrow hat. It fits a large adult head. Keeps its shape pretty well. The only real negative is that it arrived folded and vaccusealed, so it has some rather permanent creases.

I plan on doing a fun little halloween craft to make a ghost, and this is the perfect addition to add on top! This hat is great for not only just decor, but obviously for a costume too! It came in a vacuum sealed bag, so it just needed a little maneuvering to get out the creases, but it’s great! Just what I wanted.

I got the brown. In person, it has kindof a natural straw tone, so may be more appropriate for a scarecrow or wizard than a witch.It's just felt, but it's double layered so that it holds its shape.However, it's pretty wrinkled, so you'll have to iron it or stem it to get the wrinkles out. You cannot iron synthetic felt directly, it will melt - so you have to put a damp towel in between the felt and the iron.
