clear and easy to use with teens
Bought to help with a young person in high school, yes it's got American terminology but you can change that and even use as a basis to create your own picture book.

If you have a teenage ASPY, this is the book for you.
I found this book on a table at a NAS teenage awareness event, and liked it that much I got one for my thirteen year old ASPY son. I then lent it to school and they got a copy of their own, they liked it so much.It is American and this comes across in the pictures and some of the writing, but the sentiment and the impact of the photo comic book style hits the spot. My son and I went through the book together and later he read it himself, occasionally he takes it down from the shelf or I leave it out at a particular page when a situation has arisen which needs a little social awareness! the pages about urinal awareness where inspiring as understandable I don't go in the male loos with my son, but he needs to understand the etiquette of were to stand and what's appropriate when using the male urinals, who knew a book would cover this subject? but it does and it does it well. a recommended buy.

A must have for preteens and teens
My autistic son has read and used the predecessor to this book for a few years and now he is getting older I've introduced him to this version. Very pricey but so worth it! A handbook that lasts and stays relevant for years.

very useful book, recommended for both carers and ASD people
I thought book was as good as the younger version. I think they are very good books as they have the right balance of photos and written information in a way that appeals to ASD people who are visual learners. I highly recommend this book.
