Illustrators Annual 2018: (Children's Illustration Books, Bologna Annual Children's Illustrators)

Based on the cover of this book, I expected a lot more. There are good illustrations there, but not much variety or innovation, everything there I've seen before. I expected so much more from the collection of best work by young illustrators. I don't know if this represents the level of entries or the taste of the jury. And the drawing on the cover is not in the book, unfortunately.

I’ve been collecting these books for years and the 2018 edition does not disappoint! Beautiful!
