Flapper Headband 1920s Gatsby Leaf Beaded Women Hair Accessory for Costume Party (Black Gold)

The media could not be loaded.  I purchased this headband as an accessory for a 1920s costume. For a handmade item of this craftsmanship, I thought it would be more expensive. The headband is elegantly crafted and very comfortable. The beading detail is of great quality, though I did see a few tiny spots where the beads didn't connect or perhaps split apart from bending. However, I only noticed it right now as I inspected it for the video review, so it wasn't anything glaring that made me not want to wear it. The beading is backed with felt material and is soft and bendable. It's also a good size and covers almost half of your head, which I like since it is inherently of 1920s style. The metal band itself is beautifully and neatly wrapped in black fabric (including the edges of it), which makes it comfortable around your head and behind your ears - no scratching of the scalp or skin.What I really liked about this was that although I purchased it for a 1920s costume, it's still way understated from the traditional 1920s feather headpieces, and I can easily wear it with a regular dress. Plus, it has nice charm because of the subtle imperfections due to the fact that it was made by hand. You don't usually find stuff like that on Amazon.

Note: I added the feather! It does not come with the feather.This headband was a great find! It coordinated fantastically with my 1920s dress for a New Years Eve party. Beautiful as it is, I felt the look wasn't quite complete, and thus pinned a feather I happened to have to my hair behind the headband's decoration.I was hesitant to buy this because headbands _always_ hurt my head. _always_. Since I was 5. This one did not!!!! I wore it for at least 10 hours, and never once thought about it. It never felt like it was going to fall off my head, either. However, my finger waves/curls might have helped keep it in place. I honestly don't know.It is very well made. The decoration is definitely well made, and is not super stiff (so it can conform to your head--not leaving gaps). The beading is securely sewn to the material, and the material is securely sewn to the felt-like backing. It doesn't feel like it will fray at all. The decoration is very securely attached to the headband. The thin headband is wrapped in black ribbon/material for a finishing touch.The gold color is antique-looking. This was perfect for me because my dress didn't have yellow gold on it, but antique gold. It was difficult finding a non-yellow gold product! I am so happy with this headband, and definitely recommend it!

This headband is so much prettier in person ... great quality, extremely comfortable, and even fits my giant head! Haha! But seriously, I know it’s under flapper accessories, however it’s too pretty to wait for an occasion costume. It’s become an everyday piece and I love it - will definitely be looking at other items from CB Accessories. Easy transaction, super fast shipping. Love! Forgive the pics... ya know!

The leaf is made really nicely and looks great. It's backed with felt so soft and comfortable to wear. The headband is nicely wrapped in black ribbon, but the ends are still a bit sharp so just have to be careful when putting it on, but it wears nicely.

A super cute little headband that accompanies a costume well! There was plenty of flex in the band, so it didn't super-squeeze my head during the night. The decoration isn't as big as it is in the photo, but it was a very nice size, and laid flat enough after I gave it a few days out of the package.

The beaded piece is lovely… I only gave it 3 stars because the beaded piece wasn’t glued all the way down to the headband…. And your headband was very lightweight, yay for wearing but boo for holding back my hair…. I really liked it and it was comfortable to wear.

I have a wider head, so many hats and headbands dig in, yielding headaches. So I was delighted when this was comfortable. I had ordered multiple options b/c it's impossible to know until you try them on. This won out over 5 others for comfort and looks. It brightened up my dress while still being tasteful, IMO. There is a similar one that has additional rhinestones, but I preferred this one w/ a marcasite look, more in keeping w/ the period. This should help you chose, depending on your taste.

Beautiful & well made. I wore this in a friends wedding. I can't tell you how many compliments I received. As far as holding hair back, I'm not sure. I have rather wild & unruly curly hair w/ lots of texture. Knowing my hair, I wore an elastic headband & placed the rhinestone headband on top. It felt great and stayed in place all night. What a great deal!!It's just the right amount of pizazz, not too flashy! If you're on the fence, get it!! You won't regret it ;)

Fit perfect and did not squeeze my head and hurt- had it on for about 5 hours and didn’t feel it 😁
