This starter only lasted 2 months. Was not worth buying. After talking with the seller I will chage my review. Told them what happen and they sent me a new starter. Good servic efrom thie seller.

Works Awesome
Cranks 11.25 : 1 550 lift cammed small block 350 like nothing. Engine hot, no problem. Engine died because of flooded carb...no problem. Low battery...I couldn't tell.Spend the extra cash and get a better starter.

Really has an issue spending this amount of money on a starter. Glad I did! Don't waste your money on a cheap substitute. Buy this and be done!

This is a very good starter .I have a 565 ci engine and it starts it with no problem even between rounds without a charge

Lasted 1.5 years
Bought this starter in 06/2018 for BBC Chevy 496 -11.00 comp. Lasted 1.5 years, 8500 street miles. Just ordered another one 1/5/2020.Before it was worn out worked great.

no stronger than the standard version
My understanding was that this H.D. version would spin hi compression engines faster than my old std. duty model. This H.D. model works no better than my old std. duty version. Don't think I would spend the extra $$ for the H.D. model if I had it to do over again.

well built starter
Would only start my 13-1 compression 540 chevy twice in a row, even though I have 00 battery cables. Plan on using it on lower comp. 454.
