Wish it was bigger but other than that it is great. Put it on my gloss black Alvarez and it went on perfectly. No air bubbles or blemishes. It is practically invisible. Clean the area with the wipe, use the dust removal sticker, place it on the guitar, press it down with the included spreader and you are done. Highly recommend!

Yep, just look at the pics and you tell me. Ok ok, I really like these and overall happy. I do wish they were a little bigger but yep, I'm glad I went with these invisible pickguard. It would be sacrilege to cover the beautiful finish of my brand new guitar with the included pickguard. Install was easy and these were shipped fast. Shouldn't have no trouble installing if you're used to installing cellphone protective covers, it's the same concept. These are definitely worth it and would buy them again if these go bad, but so far so good.Update:Took off a star due for value to cost ratio, others have stated they had gotten two in the pack but I only received one, not sure if the company changed or omitted the extra pickguard included when they originally sold these, but it would've been nice to have an extra as reserved or in case one messes up the application. Sorry but company should reconsider this update.

I bought an Alex Lifeson thinline acoustic 2 weeks ago. It was bought to remember my last, and 53rd Rush Concert of my life on 7/25/2015. The guitar was also built in 07/2015.It had pick marks from strumming, and a small, almost unnoticeable crack in the finish. The person I bought it from took reasonable care of the guitar. And sold it to me as a Rush fan, wanting it to find a good home. It has done that.This relative thin, but stout clear plastic, fit perfectly around the outer edge of the rosette. PERFECT FIT!Surprisingly, the light scratches disappeared under the plastic. I’d say it’s great. No bubbles. I’m quite pleased.The guitar now has locking tuners and has been buffed. I’m quite proud of my “Last Rush Show” made and attended both 07/2015. Thank you Rush, you did a lot for my life. I’ll enjoy playing this guitar.R.I.P. Neil Peart•Great product•

The healing shield pick guards are an excellent addition to any acoustic sold without one. My collection includes several luthier-built custom made guitars and I use these on all of them. The protect the guitar top very well and are nearly invisible after application. A must have if playing with finger picks or a plectrum.

Purchased this item not expecting much of it, but it has lasted me very well, the adhesive is good, and a little of heat made the pick guard stick very well. It did not take away any cosmetic looks from the classical guitar and ot looks great.Good quality, great price!

Difficult installation. I followed the instructions as carefully as I could. Bubbles appeared behind the pick guard. Could not get rid of them. I’ll probably remove this pick guard and try something else.

It is basically the equivalent of a phone screen protector, but if you want real transparency, this may be the only choice. I tried the regular clear pick guard. It was okay, but not totally transparent due to the unevenness of the glue. Time will tell whether or not this one holds up, but unless you know to look for it, it is hardly noticeable on the guitar.

I just installed the clear guard on my new Takamine GN77 Koa acoustic. It was an easy install IF you use the cleaning wipe and dust removal pad (included in the box). I marked certain areas with small pieces of blue painters tape so once I peeled off the back, I could position the guard in the exact place I wanted. As much care as I took to clean the area, I got 1 tiny fleck of dust under the guard. Not going to worry about it because it is hidden with the Koa wood grain. I can't rate the durability yet since I just installed it, but I'm guessing (hoping) it lasts a long time.

Package was opened and looked used. Pick guard looks terrible as it barely stuck to the guitar and has bubbles. I Wish I could return

Après avoir enlevé l'horrible pickguard d'origine de ma guitare Cort A8 (une guitare au format grand auditorium qui sonne magnifiquement au passage), je cherchais un pickguard transparent, pour ne pas dénaturer la jolie table de l'instrument. Je voulais aussi un pickguard qui tienne bien en place mais qui puisse s'enlever facilement au cas où, sans flinguer le vernis fin, et aussi ayant une transparence parfaite. Et bien je l'ai trouvé ! La matière et l'épaisseur est semblable aux écrans de protection des smartphones ou tablettes. Le brillant final est identique à celui du vernis (neuf) de la guitare. C'est souple et rigide à la fois lors de la pose. Et tout est fourni dans le kit pour nettoyer le support et poser la chose sans faire de bulles, si on a bien nettoyé la table avant (produit fourni aussi). Pour ma part j'ai fait zéro bulles et le pickguard est quasi invisible ! Voyez mes photos. Je mets 20 sur 20 à ce produit, qui le mérite largement !
