UPDATE: Pleased and re-Pleased :)
I bought this device after reading the 1 and 5 star ratings. Initial WOW factor was up there, with just seeing the product box! Impressive, clean and professional looking. Gave only a 4, since I just received the item. Well thought out construction. The Light is VERY Bright, as is the Laser. The power switch is a bit out of the way, but is not a problem. The addition of rechargeable batteries is a nice touch, but I opted to initially use regular CR batteries. Haven't tested yet rechargeable batteries for longevity! Removing and reinstalling the battery cover screws can become tedious, if using the light for extended periods and needing additional juice. If not using the battery cover screws, the "latch points" for the battery cover may also become a problem, since the plastic edge latch points are rather thin in those areas. Though, the Instructions indicate to Use The Screws, which I AM! A bit CONCERNED about the rail tightening screw, no problems yet, but it looks rather thin. Also, the tape for the on/off velcro didn't stick to surface for long. :(Instructions Need a blurb about Charging Batteries and how long it takes.Again, I hope that the item is as good as it looks, since I plan on getting another one in the future (to compare?). GREAT Value (so far!) for the Money! At this point, I will give a 4 until proven otherwise.I DO recommend this product at this time.UPDATE: Product holding up. Durability and reliability are Top Notch. Increased the rating from a 4 to a 5. Great quality, pricing and looks. I Highly Recommend this product! :)

Works great and allows you to sight in the laser
If you're looking for a compact, easy to use, and effective flashlight/laser combo, this is it.I also absolutely love that the pressure switch is optional, as I've had lots of them that have janky pressure switches that make the light useless.Lots of combos like these are not well made, or have so many superfluous (i.e 'tacticool') features that make them useless for anything other than a pissing contest between people with too much money. This is no frills and has the below features:- Easy open battery case, that looks water resistant- Includes spare batteries and even a damn charger- Toggle switch that goes between light, laser, and a combo of both- Power switch to instantly turn on or off (while keeping your settings with the separate toggle switch)- Separate pressure switch to stick on a grip for easy on/off when you ready your weapon- Ability to adjust your laser, this is rare and very useful. A lot of lasers are glorified laser pointers that are spray painted black and glued to a rail. Not this one.- Affordable. It's effective and does what is needed without breaking the bank.- Thumb screw for mounting. Thanks for that.No cons to mention. Seriously folks. It's simple, effective, and affordable. Not to mention he upgraded my shipping to priority for free and handwrote a thank you note.Jake, you kick ass and you've got a solid customer in me. Thanks for your service in both for our country and for the consumers.

An excellent choice!
When I received this sight right out of the box I could tell this was probably going to be a very good sight. I tested this sight, the red laser only, on a Mossberg Shockwave 12ga and these are my findings. I will try not to be to long winded but I think that most folks will find this very informative. The Shockwave, for those not familiar, is a light weight short shotgun with a pistol grip and a 14” barrel.I tested this sight with the following ammunition in the Shockwave:First 5 shoots with Winchester milspec. 2 3/4” 00 with 9 pells of buckshoot.Recoil was heavy and no issues noted sight stayed lit and kept it’s zero.5 shoots of S&B 2 3/4” 00 with 9 pells of buckshoot.Recoil was heavy and no issues noted sight stayed lit and kept it’s zero.2 shots of Federal Premium 2 3/4” #4 buckshot with 27 pells.Recoil was very heavy and no issues noted sight stayed lit and kept it’s zero.2 shots of Fiocchi 2 3/4” #4 buckshot nickel plated with 27 pells.Recoil was very heavy almost obnoxious (very surprising) and the sight did turn off but did keep it’s zero.Sight came back on after pressing the switch.5 shoots of Remington 2 3/4” #1 buckshot with 20 pells.Recoil was heavy and no issues noted sight stayed lit and kept it’s zero.2 shots of Winchester 1oz sabot slugs.Recoil was heavy and no issues noted sight stayed lit and kept it’s zero.3 shoots of Remington 2 3/4” Magnum 00 buckshot with 12 pells.Recoil was very heavy and painfully obnoxious (not surprising) and the sight did turn off but did keep it’s zero.Sight came back on after pressing the switch.20 shots of Challenger 1 3/4” mini shells #4 buckshot with 14 pells.Recoil was light, especially after all of the larger 12ga loads, no issues noted and the sight stayed lit and kept it’s zero. All shoots were taken from 21’, maybe a tad farther and it should be noted that the sight kept it’s zero through the entire test regime. The red laser in day light was very hard to see but not impossible. This is nothing new as far as lasers are concerned. The sight did shut itself off under the heaviest recoil but I do not think this was due to the electronics. What was happening is that the shoot gun moved back rapidly under the recoil and the switch did not thereby switching off. A suggestion would be a heavier spring under the switch.I was a little disappointed with the pressure switch which didn’t stick onto anything for any amount of time. I have never seen and of these stick as they should with any pressure switch so it’s not really unusual. I didn’t test it with the pressure switch installed however since the main switch would have overridden the pressure switch and it still would have shut itself off.At night outside or in a dark room the 200 lumen light is very sufficient and the red laser can been seen easily out beyond 50 yards. The on/off switch is very easy to find and manipulate. The battery compartment is somewhat difficult to get to and open and the small screw could be dropped while in the field and lost easily but it does stay secure nicely.I kept the light and sight on for the better part of an hour and it’s still going strong. I’ve read where some folks are saying the batteries don’t last but I would recommend charging fully before use and as soon as you get the device. The sight was very tight and somewhat difficult to get onto my rail. This is not necessarily a bad thing as it stayed put and kept it’s zero quite well. I started it from the front of the rail and pushed it on while holding the button in as hard I could push.Overall and especially for the money this sight/light is, in my opinion, an excellent sight!
